A place where the youth come for educational services, mentoring and they are given an opportunity to grow and realize their inner strengths. Also to develop them into the leaders that they were born to be and understand what it is to become someone that can change their own lives and also influence their peers. Each will see that the real reward is not acquiring the knowledge and applying it but being able to give back. This is our story!

Our Friend: Robert Wooten
Here is Robert Wooten. He is 17 and currently residing in Harlem though he is a Queens native. He is 1 of 4 children and now living with his grandmother. Rob did a one year stretch on Rikers since June of 2012. He is enrolling back in school to finish then plan for college with his arsenal of talents that include rapping, dancing and sports like basketball being his favorite. Roberts insporation is President Obama. He says, '' Him being the first black president is motivation for me to accomplish my goals'' Rob is a young man with good energy so I'm sure he wont have a challenge he can't can solve on his road to success. He realizes jail isn't the place for him due to the other individuals that are incarcerated, some who aren't coming home and those doing more time than he had. That was the eye opener for him to stay focused because for him he doesn't want his only options in life to be '' Dead or in Jail''
