| Road to Success painting by Youth Leader Anthony De Jesus |
This project was completed with satisfactory results by Anthony De Jesus a Youth Leader at Friends. He has been working on this project for over a month. Anthony says the best part of it all was finally completing the painting and knowing that he could do it. Its was about the details, getting it to match his vision, that made it all worth while. The painting represents a greater sense of freedom after being institutionalized by the criminal justice system. Once you set your mind to accomplish a positive goal the only one that can stop you is your one inhibitions, don't stop, keep going and the rewards will be fruitful and multiply.
