Good morning everyone. Anthology here with another additional report for The Official Friends Of Island Academy Blog! Here is a link to Bossip.com presenting the Top 10 Lies Told in HIP HOP Music. I feel it is very important to inform the viewers about this particular topic because music is, if not the then one of  the most influential things today. Many of us can agree that music moves our spirit, changes our emotions and gives us lyrics to live by in our everyday lives. So what happens when lies are being told within the music and how does it effect us subconsciously to those who are aware? It may start to effect our real lives because for some people, they idolize and look to a lot of these entertainers as role models and or parental figures. So when someone you look to as a leader lies it may discourage us and lead many of us to believe what this say in their music is fine to do. There are some individuals who don't even care. But what about the younger audience who are receiving this information. They may grow into adults that believe there nothing wrong with being a role model that lies and tells fabricated stories. We have to be mindful about how we portray ourselves, especially with a younger audience watching and molding themselves to the very lifestyles being promoted through the music. The children are our future!.
